IPS e.max Smile Award of the Ivoclar Vivadent AG

When Dirk Hellwig, art director at Ivoclar Vivadent AG, contacted us if we would want to design the Smile Award, for the world’s best dental mechanics and dentists, we smiled widely. The task was to develop a 3D-Icon, which would become the competition’s face. We created a clear, technical precise, and high quality object, matching e.max’s characteristics. The finely milled, accurate tooth was the highlight of the trophy.

The IPS e.max Smile Award’s award ceremony held place in Madrid in June 2016 under the accounts of the “International Expert Symposium” with more than 400 submitted works from Asia – Pacific, Europe – the Middle East – Africa, North and South America.
